The WITS course ran for 22 years from 1985 and gave students who were not formally qualified the opportunity to study at degree level. It provided a fast track way of developing skills in technology and science as well as valuable personal and professional skills.
The course (in its original form) ended in 2007.

I had the priviledge of teaching Mathematics to some of these students between 2006--2007.
