In Brief:

My research interests include AI planning, knowledge engineering, machine learning, requirements validation and formal specification. I have led major collaborative research projects such as PLANFORM, IMPRESSand FAROAS, the latter two supported by NATS Ltd. I helped lead the PLANET European Network of Excellence. Currently I am leader of the EPSRC AIS programme project (2012-2016): "Machine Learning and Adaptation of Domain Models to Support Real Time Planning in Autonomous Systems" with colleagues from the University of Edinburgh. I am leader/chair of COST Action "Autonomic Road Transport Support Systems" European Network 2011-2015. I am involved in several upcoming or relatively recent events:
